He used to be an accountant but in his heart, he is really an artist. He got his first break when he was offered to paint a wall mural. People loved it! But the general artist in him wanted to do more. So he embarked on his biggest challenge yet - a painting on canvas spanning 60 metres long with 27 scenes that shows Singapore from the 1970s till today - across race, language, religion and culture. And he aptly called it, “I Paint my Singapore”. No wonder he is also called the People’s Artist. Watch and enjoy.
