An overnight trip with the Brompton to explore the Sheep's Head Peninsula in West Cork. I started this cycle at Gerahies and cycled to the lighthouse at the tip of the peninsula on the first day (24km with steep hills and passing through Ahakista & Kilcrohane). On the second day I went back in the direction of Ahakista and finished at Durras (27km and a lot easier than the first day). Even while overcast and under heavy fog on Day 2 this was still a really stunning location to visit and the cloud cleared to allow great views of the lighthouse and the form of the peninsula from high in the air with the drone. A big thanks to Stephen and Eoin for the laughs, friendship, great food and transport!
