The AC cabin fan in my 1972 Mercedes Benz 280 SE 4.5 (W108) started making a screeching/waling sound indicating the motor's shaft rotating in its bearings needed cleaning and lubricating. This video documents removing the AC cabin fan, taking it apart, cleaning and lubricating it thus eliminating the screeching sound.
