Televangelist Bishop Gilbert Deya has been acquitted of five charges of child theft, in a 5 year legal battle that saw the preacher extradited from the United Kingdom. In a jugdment issued on Monday, senior principal magistrate Robinson Ondieki pointed that the prosecution had failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the self styled preacher was involved in the theft of five minors who were found at his residential complex in Nairobi. And as Laura Otieno reports, Bishop Deya has vowed to return to his pastoral work in the United Kingdom where he operates as the self proclaimed archbishop of the Gilbert Deya Ministries.
