Let’s get you connected to some helpful online and mobile resources!

First, open your web browser, go to wp.nyu.edu/nyuwashingtondc, and bookmark the NYU Washington, DC Student Site. This site contains links to helpful NYU and DC resources and will have announcements and events added to it throughout your time in DC.

You can also go to this webpage on your mobile device and then add a shortcut link to your home screen. If you don’t know how to add links to your home screen you can Google the name of your mobile device and the phrase ‘add to home screen’ and you should find more information.

In addition to adding the Student Site to your home screen, you should consider downloading the following mobile apps:

NYU Mobile will connect you to resources such as NYU Classes, Albert, and CareerNet
Safe NYU will connect you to relevant information from NYU’s Department of Public Safety - remember to update your location!
A mobile app for your health insurance provider can connect you to local healthcare resources - your app for this may vary depending on which health insurance plan you’re enrolled in
The NYU Wellness app will connect you to helpful wellness information and the ability to text or chat confidentially with a Wellness Counselor
The Mail and Calendar apps will connect you with your NYU Gmail and Google calendar accounts - if you don’t know how to connect your accounts you can Google ‘NYU Email Mobile’ and find more information from the NYU IT Department
The Hangouts app will allow you to text or video chat with others at NYU
The Eventbrite app will allow you to enter your name for NYU Washington, DC Excursions and find other events in Washington, DC
