-Timestamps for each crossing are in the comments section.
-Intro music is Iron Horse by Kevin Macleod, it is ROYALTY FREE, but I do NOT own the music. I took all videos and images.
-Videos of each specific crossing can be found by searching the name and city. Example: Gore Street Railroad Crossing, Orlando, FL.
I decided to make a video of all the crossings I recorded along the Sunrail back on my trip to Orlando in July. It isn't all of them, but I'd say I got a big enough number to make a video like this. The line has some nice equipment, although the owner of the line, Central Florida Rail Corridor, is upgrading a lot of the crossings to have pedestrian gates and quad gates, so it makes for a lot of "old meets new" installs. Most of the crossings on this line were installed by SBD, and a couple from ACL. It fell under CSX and then CFRC bought the line from Sandford to Poinciana. Since then, they've done major track work at crossings, signals, and building new stations. They installed the Metra-style "baby crossings" at their stations. It's good to see a lot of old stuff surviving on a commuter rail line, though. This line also gets daily use by Amtrak, and they even stop at the Orlando, Winter Park, and Sandford Sunrail stations. FCEN uses the line from downtown Orlando south to Taft and CSX uses the line daily but mostly at night as well. Enjoy!
