This spectacular Mulliner bodied Bentley Continental R has covered just 17000 miles from new in 2000 and has been owned by a prominent collector and member of the Bentley Drivers Club and RREC. Whilst the Bentley has formed part of his collection and has covered ultra-low mileage, it has toured through Germany and Switzerland during the last fourteen years and has proven to be a wonderful car to own.
The Bentley Continental R Mulliner comes with an exceptional history file which includes the original bill of sale from 16th June 2000. The Bentley was ordered from Jack Barclay Limited to be finsihed in Dark Cherry coachwork with Slate hide upholstery at a total price of £246,740.83. The car was ordered with interior overmats, seat switch surround in hide, shaded 'Sundym' windscreen and a painted radiator shell with brush stainless vanes. The car featured White Xenon headlamp bulbs, electric rear window blind, front and rear parking aids, veneer lid instead of ashtrays, outside temperature gauge, 'easy close' boot lid, Pan-Europe tracking system, black badges including wheel centres, coloured keyed cheetah panels, wrap over fully veneered waist rails and folding electric mirrors.

This car was supplied on the 27th September 2000 and its first service was carried out by Jack Barclay Ltd at 855 miles. The Bentley Service Centre in South West London maintained the car at 1170 and 2572 miles and Michael Powles Limited Bentley serviced the car at 6079 miles. Since then, Bentley main agents JCT 600 in Leeds have looked after the car, servicing and stamping the book at 6765, 10057, 10218, 12668, 13367, 15653 and 16912 miles. Accompanying the impressive service record are many service invoices, all original handbooks, wallet, original bill of sale and sales brochure. The Bentley umbrellas are in place in the boot and two sets of spare keys come with the car.

The condition of the car is sensational, quite simply exceptional in every respect. The gorgeous Mulliner bodywork is first class, the Dark Cherry paintwork stunning and the Slate leather upholstery is beautiful, matched by equally impressive woodwork.
