Article 29 – Protection of Interests of Minorities
This article protects the cultural, language, and script rights of minorities. Any group having a distinct culture or language has the right to preserve it.
Article 30 – Right of Minorities to Establish Educational Institutions
Minorities have the right to establish and administer educational institutions of their choice without discrimination.
Article 31 – Repealed Article
Earlier related to the Right to Property, now removed and replaced by Article 300A.
Article 32 – Right to Constitutional Remedies
Known as the “Heart and Soul of the Constitution” (Dr. B.R. Ambedkar). Citizens can directly approach the Supreme Court for enforcement of Fundamental Rights.
Article 33 – Parliament’s Power to Modify Rights
Parliament can restrict or modify Fundamental Rights of Armed Forces, Police, and Intelligence Agencies to ensure discipline.
Article 34 – Rights During Martial Law
Provides protection and indemnity to officials during the enforcement of martial law.
Article 35 – Power of Parliament to Make Laws
Gives Parliament authority to legislate on matters related to Fundamental Rights.
