ㅇ 진쇠춤
진쇠춤은 경기도 도당굿의 진쇠장단에 맞춰 꽹과리를 들고 추는 춤이다. 꽹과리채에 늘인 오색 끈이 화려함을 더해주며 외발뛰기와 꽹과리를 휘두르는 춤사위가 특징이다. 오늘은 조흥동류 진쇠춤을 선보인다.

ㅇ Jinsoechum (Dance with a small bronze gong)
In this version of Jinsoechum choreographed by Jo Heong-dong, a rhythmic pattern from a village shaman ritual of Gyeonggi Province is used, and a male dancer wears mugwanbok(a military uniform) while a female dancer is dressed in cheollik(a military official’s formal dress). The fives trings with the five cardinal colors dangling from the mallet for the small bronze gong adds splendor to the dance costumes. The characteristic of the dance is displayed in the unique movements of hopping on one foot and the whirling of the instrument.
