The thing is this looks fine when played on one of those 300 line CRTs from yesteryear. The VHS tape this was pulled from had but 240 lines of resolution to begin with but here, some 35+ years later it falls apart in spectacular fashion and there's no amount of whiz-bang tech that can make is appreciably better. Not to mention things got worser & worser (that's a fun word} the further down you got in the analogue world of duplicating.
