バブルカルチャーをテーマにしたポストフューチャーファンク/ポストヴェイパーウェイヴユニット、エフエムTOWNSのデビューシングルである『パステル⭐️Night』は、
15才のシティポップシンガー寧音をフィーチャーした、原口沙輔とのデュエットソング。

ファンキーなブラスセクション、DX7のチョッパーベース、マシンディスコビートに、
意味不明だけどキャッチーなゼロ年代インターネット感溢れる歌詞と爽やかなメロディが織りなす、恋愛コメディアニメのOPのような86-7年のバブル全開のシティポップディスコ！

DÉ DÉ MOUSE, who continues to be active in units like Fake Creators, Tiny Griffi, and Henryne Girls, has teamed up with Saku Haraguchi, who has revolutionized the Vocaloid scene with hits like "Human Mania" and "Medical Science," to form a new unit called FM TOWNS. They have released their first single, "Pastel⭐️Night"!

The debut single of FM TOWNS, a post-future funk/post-vaporwave unit themed around bubble culture, features 15-year-old city pop singer Nei Ne on a duet with Saku Haraguchi.

"Pastel⭐️Night" is a city pop disco track bursting with the bubble era of 1986-87, reminiscent of a romantic comedy anime opening. It features funky brass sections, DX7 slap bass, and machine disco beats, complemented by nonsensical yet catchy lyrics full of early 2000s internet vibes and refreshing melodies. The original version, brimming with lost wave quality like a cassette tape recorded from FM radio, is an homage to the pre-bubble techno sound with signature sampling sounds reminiscent of Art of Noise.

The vibrant artwork depicting DÉ DÉ MOUSE and Saku Haraguchi was created by illustrator Natsumi Sato, who is known for her work in various advertisements and apparel. Enjoy the post-future funk sound crafted by these two artists who have mastered the 80s sound!
