Brutally Honest Town Visit - Skagaströnd in Northwest Iceland

What has the village Skagaströnd in North-West Iceland to offer although it's not by the official ring road and do such places have a fair change to compete? It's only one of the many questions i try to ask as we do a deep dive into the towns soul with a brutally honest mindset as usual.
