Day 4 of our epic trip around Scotlands North Coast 500 Route and Beyond.
We leave Wick https://www.guesthousewick.com (Great accommodation and location) and head further north to John O' Groats, then on to Duncansby Head with its amazing sea stacks. Just a few miles west, is Dunnet Head, a cliff top wildlife haven on our search to see Puffins. Then, we visit Puffin Cove - will we see any Puffins??? It's located at place called Drumhollistan on the border of Caithness and Sutherland. Then passing through Bettyhill, we divert off the NC500 to head south to Skail, near Strathnaver, for our night in a Glamping Pod. https://www.weehooseglamping.com Lovely location and host!
