I’m an enthusiastic do-it-yourselfer and love to experiment. In my DIY videos, I share my favorite methods so you can create items that will take your photography to the next level.

I’ve been sewing since I was 12 and have a passion for fashion design and construction. I'll share with you how I re-imagine items I find at thrift stores for creative fine-art portraits.

You’ll have to check out my playlist called Designing the Look: From Idea to Portrait. I share my creative process including sketching the fashion design, styling using mostly thrift store treasures, lighting set-up, the photoshoot, editing, and final portraits. It’s kinda like How it’s made meets Project Runway.

I have a major soft spot for photographing pets and will share with you my favorite techniques for photographing and incorporating them into my portraits.

I currently live in Gilbert, Arizona and since 1998, have enjoyed my career as a creative director in graphic design. In 2018 I added portrait photography to my creative services. My husband, Gabe, is also a designer and we work from a home studio raising our six children together.

My channel also includes videos of my special photography projects. These photoshoots support causes close to my heart and allow me to use photography as an influence for good. I want to inspire my clients to stand with confidence in who they are and the good influence they can have on the world.
