Kandhamal Elephant Death Case: No Arrest Even After 15 Days, Forest Minister Warns of Strict Action

କନ୍ଧମାଳ ବେଲଘର ମୁଣ୍ଡୁଟି ଜଙ୍ଗଲରେ ହାତୀ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ଘଟଣାକୁ ୧୫ ଦିନରୁ ଅଧିକ ବିତିଯାଇଛି। ହେଲେ ଏପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଦୋଷୀ ଧରାପଡ଼ିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ହାତୀ ମୃତ୍ୟୁରେ ସଂପୃକ୍ତ ଥିବା ଦୋଷୀଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ନେଇ ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ଜଙ୍ଗଲ ଓ ପରିବେଶ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଗଣେଶ ରାମ ସିଂ ଖୁଣ୍ଟିଆ।

More than 15 days have passed since the shocking elephant death incident in the Munduti forest of Belghar area in Kandhamal district, Odisha. Despite the delay, no accused has been arrested so far.

Forest and Environment Minister Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia has assured strict action against those involved. He stated that strong legal steps will be taken and property seizure may also be considered if required. The investigation is currently underway, and authorities have promised that no one responsible will be spared.
