In this video I will walk you through the steps of testing and diagnosing a failed coil on the Ford / Lincoln / Mercury 4.6 WITHOUT a scan tool. I give examples of what I'm listening for, and also show what you would see if you were using a scan tool - using the Ford Power Balance Test. After the last video where I took the Lifted Grand Marquis off road I was having coil issues, which we fixed, but not completely, I install some cheap eBay / Amazon coil packs to try them out to see if they are any good - so you don't have to!
