Sidewalks might seem simple, but for students walking to school, they can make all the difference 🚶♂️🏫
Melvin Fleming, a principal in our transportation group, helped deliver the Greene (now Cardinal) Elementary Sidewalk Improvements project in Richmond, Virginia. The project added 850 feet of curb-attached sidewalk, giving students, who previously had to walk in the street, a safe route to school from their neighborhood.
"I attended Greene Elementary School, now replaced by Cardinal Elementary, and I walked a very similar path. So, I know the significance of this project."
