The Battle of Fallen Timbers is perhaps the most undersung battle in U.S. history. Not only did it set the precedent for future westward expansion, it was also the first major victory of the U.S. Army under the Constitution. Featuring a fierce and competent native alliance, British instigators, Revolutionary heroes, and future legends of the United States, Fallen Timbers is an interesting nexus from which so much future U.S. history is rooted.
