The Oscar Lifetime Achievement Award given to the greatest of India's film geniuses - who has been called by Muriel Peters as "a defining artist of the 20th century, on par with the likes of Picasso." His favorite actress, Audrey Hepburn, literally did the honors. I have been quite disappointed with the existing YouTube videos of this occasion as they ALL leave out the beautiful montage that the Motion Pictures Academy had prepared for the occasion (why would anyone in their right minds wish to jettison it??). Fortunately, I just located my own recording of it and thankfully digitizing is now such a snap. So here you go fellow Rayophiles - enjoy!
