Reddiskip was a theatre company based at The Palace Theatre in Redditch during 1979-1980. Paid for by Manpower Services Commission and created by Edward Willis (the theatre manager at the time and father of the actor Richard Willis) Reddiskip wrote and performed educational plays in schools, performed two seasons of 'weekly rep' at the theatre and ran a Saturday morning drama club. There was much campaigning by both the theatre manager and a collection of fans to get Redditch council to fund a second year, but this was unsuccessful and marked the end of a great scheme.
