If you're driving and you see the battery light flashing on the dashboard, you need to check your charging system. This can be caused by a bad battery, a bad alternator, a loose cable/wire, a short-to-ground, or rust/contamination on the wires. In my case it is the alternator, I'll explain how I got to this conclusion.
