Transcrime researcher Giovanni Nicolazzo presents key results from our research within the EU co-funded project KLEPTOTRACE (Strengthening EU asset recovery and sanction tracing against transnational high-level corruption).
The reports are available on the project website: https://www.kleptotrace.com/
These mapped the links between European companies and sanctioned entities, the recurring sanctions evasion schemes, and the actors and strategies involved in high-level corruption cases. The reports also present risk indicators, innovative tools and recommendations for authorities, companies and policy makers to improve cross-border investigations, sanctions enforcement and effective due diligence against financial and organised crime.
