This is an unusual hand technique for playing congas at a fast tempo. It differs from the usual Tumbao in that open strokes are played with two hands. It can be used to play Disco, House and other modern club styles.
The first part of the rhythm is skipped and to make it easier to start playing in the first beat, you can play an open stroke. It can also be one of the variations of the rhythm.
