In this Class 9 Science video, we solve important Numerical Problems on Acceleration from the NCERT Motion Chapter (Chapter 7).

Numericals Covered in this Video:
1️⃣ Starting from a stationary position, Rahul paddles his bicycle to attain a velocity of 6 m/s in 30 s. Then he applied brakes such that the velocity comes down to 4 m/s in the next 5 s. Calculate acceleration in both cases.
2️⃣ A body moving downward an inclined plane changes its velocity from 10 cm/s to 15 cm/s in 2 s. Find its acceleration.
3️⃣ A body moving upward an inclined plane changes its velocity from 15 cm/s to 10 cm/s in 2 s. Find its acceleration.
4️⃣ A train is moving at a speed of 40 km/h at 10:00 am and 50 km/h at 10:02 am. Assuming constant acceleration, find the value of acceleration.
5️⃣ A bicycle increases its velocity from 10 km/h to 15 km/h in 6 s. Find the acceleration.
6️⃣ An object moves along a straight line with an acceleration of 2 m/s². If its initial speed is 10 m/s, what will be its speed 5 s later?
7️⃣ An object dropped from a cliff falls with constant acceleration 10 m/s². Find its speed 2 s after it was dropped.
