"My idea for a dark story line is Castiel is in the mental institution (because he thinks he's an angel) and makes friends with a fellow patient named Dean. Dean gets better and leaves but still occasionally visits...until Castiel's therapist tells him that Castiel has developed an unhealthy obsession with him and suggests he no longer visits. Castiel gets out and comes for Dean, following him around, calling his phone, threatening people who talk to him, etc. Dean flirts with a lady in a bar and Castiel beats him up in the alley.
I'm not sure how it would end: Dean killing Cas, Castiel killing Dean, Sam killing Castiel, or Dean beating the crap out of Castiel and then walking away."
