Armwrestling exercises at pull up bar without equipment:
In this video I wanted to show some arm wrestling exercises which you can do without special equipment, just by using pull up bar.
This are excellent exercises not just for beginners but also for pro athletes.
Included exercises:
1. Wide grip pull ups;
2. Wide side to side pull ups;
3. One handed pull ups;
4. Static one handed pull ups;
5. Mixed grip side to side pull ups;
6. Explosive grip change pull ups;
7. Back and forward pull ups in 90 degrees;
8. Biceps back and forward pull ups in 90 degrees;
9. Half pull ups;
10. Explosive underhand grip pull up;
11. Grip change in 90 degree holding position;
12. Half chin ups;
13. Close to wide grip 90 degree underhanded pull up;
14. Underhanded grip pull up;
15. Close to wide grip 90 degree pull up;
16. Regular pull ups;
17. Pull up with going in to front hold.
Thees exercises excellent include: Concentric contractions (shorten), Eccentric contractions (lengthen) Isometric contractions (remain the same) movements.
I recommend to do this exercise on thicker grip pull ups bars, so more attention would be given on your finger and wrist strengthening.
By using thicker pull up bar, you give almost similar load on wrist and finger like using fatgripz.
