Regional dressage finals vlog with Willow hand and Santiago

In this video, I take you along with me for a 4-day regional dressage finals show – a big milestone in our journey! For those who are new to my channel, let me give you a bit of backstory. I imported my horse, Santiago, a beautiful warmblood from England. Unfortunately, after bringing him over, we discovered he has a neck condition, which meant he could no longer continue jumping. This was devastating, but instead of giving up, we shifted our focus to dressage, a sport that emphasizes the harmony between horse and rider through a series of precise movements and training.

Santiago, despite everything, has proven to be incredibly talented. After just 6 months of dressage training, he qualified for the regional championships! I couldn't be prouder of him for pushing through his challenges and giving me everything he has, even with his condition. Although we didn’t win this time, he’s only 5 years old, and this is just the beginning of our journey in the dressage world.
