Known to be wilder in the north, and more touristy in the south, Martinique offers quite varied landscapes and atmospheres. Moreover, this gap takes on its full meaning when you take the main road with Fort-de-France and its suburbs in the middle of the island.
For an ideal stay, it is common to divide your tour into two parts, one time to visit the north, one time for the south. This is what we did, and in this article, we will therefore first focus on the northern region of Martinique.
