Fashion is drama and YSL is bringing it:
Broken palettes? Glitter fallout? Fading? Yes.
But also: intriguing textures, incredible blendability, delicate sparkles. And: that gorgeous packaging, reminiscent of Yves Saint Laurent Quilted "Y" bags.

The YSL Couture Mini Clutch Eyeshadow Palettes have some unique and marvelous high points, but also some caveats. After ten days of extensive wear tests with various primers, I have put all six of the palettes from this line through their paces to see if they truly earn the title of "luxury" eyeshadows. I share my thoughts in the form of eyeshadow swatches, application footage, and comparisons – both within the line itself and with other well-known palettes from luxury and high-end brands – so that you can see which one might be right for you.
