I bought 3 1850s bonnet forms so the time has come for me to recover them. First, we recover a later 1850s straw form (the Eliza Coretta) from Timely Tresses. Next, we recover a buckram bonnet in silk (the Vereta Louia) from Timely Tresses. And finally we recover a late 1840s/early 1850s open straw bonnet from Anna Worden Bauersmith. Both Timely Tresses bonnets get trimmed in real silk ribbon and flower elements. I left the open work bonnet rather simple to copy an original bonnet in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
