This is a video from the recital in March 2022.
It's a short piece, but it's cute and intense, with several drum rolls🥁, making it one of my favorite pieces.

短い楽章ですが、可愛らしく激しく、ドラムロールの音🥁が何回か出てきたり、お気に入りです。

1800, completed in the last year of the 18th century. He is 30 years old, and he praised himself as "this sonata is wonderful," and at the time of publication he himself called it "the great sonata."
However, contrary to Beethoven's enthusiasm, there were critics who criticized "there is nothing new."

1800年、18世紀最後の年に完成。30歳で「このソナタは素晴らしい」と自画自賛し、出版当時は自ら「偉大なソナタ」と呼んでいました。
しかし、ベートーヴェンの熱意とは裏腹に「目新しいところがない」と批判する批評家もいました。
