My Big Mistake and a Grateful Update | Hand Injury Recovery, Gratitude & Faith
Life can change in an instant. A few weeks ago, I made what I call “my big mistake.” While using a straight razor, I slipped and ended up cutting four fingers—two of them so badly that I needed surgery to repair tendons and ligaments.
The pain has been tough, but in the middle of it all, I’ve discovered gratitude, faith, and the power of community. From the amazing staff at Mercy Medical, to my family stepping up in big ways, to friends and strangers reaching out with love and prayers—I’ve been reminded how blessed I truly am.
