In this video I talk about the properties and differences between Knit fabric and Woven Fabric -
Woven fabric is made on a loom with warp threads and weft threads. This fabric is stable and not typically stretchy, unless it is WOVEN with elastic fibers.
Knit fabric is made with either knitting needles or a knitting machine which has a series of needles that create a series of loops. That's what give this fabric stretch.
