At the March 2021 San Juan County Amateur Radio Society's Zoom Meeting hams in Western Washington heard Ken Koster, N7IPB tell the history of the Pacific Northwest 220 MHz Repeater Network. One dozen 220 repeaters, including one in Hawaii, are linked together using digital controllers and Raspberry Pi computers via Internet and the Northwest HamWAN networks.
Ken starts with a brief history of the 220 band in the Northwest and goes on to share the evolution of his home-brew controllers. We learn about SVXLink and see the hardware that brings it all together.
