“The Piano I Remember, Vol 1” (THE COMPLETE ALBUM) is a collection of 15 great revival and camp meeting songs featuring Ralph Carmichael’s arrangements for Gospel piano. The project was originally planned to feature Ralph’s father, Rev. Richard Carmichael, at the keyboard. Sadly, Richard passed away in January 1960 before the recording could be made. However, the project ultimately moved forward with Ralph’s friend Bobby Hammack filling in (uncredited) at the piano along with some rhythm instruments and Ralph’s arrangements. This great album was released on Sacred Records and was re-released in 1976 by Word Records.
