Another Boss Battle Test RetroAchievements

As you can see I started with 1 star, that's because I did the beat bowser with 50% or more health left cheevo offline, which wasn't planned at all.
I've done it like twice with states and since it specificly said no savestates, I wasn't sure if I am allowed to use L to restart the fight or if that counts as savestate. I tried it after doing the fight once with states and the achievement didnt trigger despite resetting my progress.
I thought maybe thats only the case because I didnt close and reopen the emu, so I tried that.
I activated hardcore mode just for the memes, because there was just no way I would randomly first try this, but that's exactly what happened. I was pretty nervous early on and at the end I probably had a like 160 heart rate again. Actually really sad I don't have a video for this, since the attempt was so clutch. It actually was damageless until the final 2 normal attacks and then I got hit by the green flame attack, which is the easiest dodge.
I got hit one more time on the first 4 switches. I somehow still had half hp, but I was sure it will be like my first playthrough - I will choke to the very end and the next day I will struggle to get any attempts going and it will just be a miserable grind, but luckily that didn't happen. I had multiple close calls, which I honestly have no idea how I survived. Makes me even more sad that I didn't record, but I guess I take that over a miserable grind.

Tho the other stars and challenges didn't go that well. Especially getting star 2 after activating night time was ridiculously cursed.
