For the first time in its preserved career, BR Class 33 - D6515 “Lt Jenny Lewis RN” has worked a revenue earning freight service on the mainline.
The Class 33, owned by the 71A Locomotive Group and based on the Swanage Railway, was spot hired by Hanson & Hall due to the unavailability of their own locomotives, to move two Volker Rail Kirow cranes from Eastleigh to London Gateway Port; working 6Z10. D6515 would issue a powerful display at Shawford, as it accelerated the consist up the South West Mainline.
All footage filmed on Wednesday the 9th of July 2025.
