Exo Mascouche train line: ride from Gare Centrale to Sauvé station + a walk to Sauvé metro station 🚃

Note: the actual train ride starts at around the 2:50 mark.

Here is a nice ride on the exo Mascouche commuter train line between Montreal Central Station (Gare Centrale) and Sauvé station. After the train ride, we then walk from Sauvé station to Sauvé metro station, on the Orange Line of the Montreal Metro 🟠

This train ride is on the Mascouche detour. In the past, the Mascouche line would start at Central Station, go north through the Mount Royal tunnel (which was shared with the former exo / AMT Deux-Montagnes commuter train line) and branch off towards the east.

Because the Mont Royal tunnel is closed due to work on the REM line, the Mascouche line has to leave Central Station from the south, turn west through Southwest, Montreal and then turn north through Lachine and the Taschereau train yards. Finally after curving around the Taschereau yards, the train heads east and eventually joins the location of its old route.

I'm this video, we are on a Bombardier MultiLevel train with a Bombardier F59PH locomotive number 1340.
