How to setup Xcode Cloud in 5 minutes and boost iOS developer productivity - Do it now!

A very short video explaining how to set up Xcode Cloud.

I truly recommend that this is one of the first things you do when setting a up a new project that you intend to publish to the App Store.

Why? Because it will save you a ton of time in the long run. By far the worse thing about iOS development is App Store Connect. The fewer hours spent in the web browser looking at that abomination the better.

Xcode Cloud is by far the best developer tool Apple has released in recent years. Once set up, triggering builds is as simple as committing and pushing your code to your repository. Sure, we've had CI/CD tools in the past, with the most notable being Fastlane, but this setup process is much more integrated, quicker to setup, and... just works.

Another bonus here is that by doing it this way through Xcode, is that you can also bypass the app setup process in the developer portal.

This automates the entire cycle of uploading builds and publishing them to your testers.
