19. Aliens Fireteam Elite PS5 (Demolisher Intense Difficulty) Final Boss: Pathogen Queen Chapter 5-3

Promise of a Flower Strike Mission 3. Thank goodness I bought the Pathogen DLC because we got robbed of a boss fight back in Chapter 4-3. This zone has plenty of environmental hazards in it. Do not go anywhere near poisonous gases or exploding bladders as they'll take off big chunks of your HP. Once you reach this tall ugly Queen it will be a longish fight as she has a lot of HP and heavily armored. Shooting at the same spot will slowly break off that spot's armor so her skin gets exposed and you can do more damage in that area. However, don't just focus on the Pathogen Queen. Crowd Control is still important as they're still sending in Hordes and even Elites during the boss fight. Kill them all before focusing fire on the Queen. Just watch her moves and she is really easy to avoid.

And that is that. Just singleplayer for me. I enjoyed my run as both the Demolisher in the story campaigns and as the Gunner in the optional missions. Intense Difficulty is harsh and even the game tells you to go online and play with real people to finish these missions but solo can be done with Max Levels, good guns and an advanced understanding of the Classes that you're playing as. My main complaint is that despite the updates that buffed them, the A.I. companions just suck. Being able to command them would have been nice but no. See you all in another game!
