This workshop introduces the basics of CAD using OnShape, a web-based program that lets teams create and collaborate on 3D designs. You’ll learn key features like sketches, parts, assemblies, tools, and mates, plus how to import vendor files and export for 3D printing.
We’ll also cover setting up an Education account, using collaboration tools, and exploring FTC parts libraries to speed up your design process. The session includes presentations, live demos, and time for hands-on practice and sharing.
Designed for students and mentors new to CAD and OnShape, we’ll also highlight the Marist OnShape curriculum for grades 7-12.
