झारखंड विधानसभा के शीतकालीन सत्र में आज स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को लेकर जोरदार हंगामा हुआ. कांग्रेस विधायक प्रदीप यादव और स्वास्थ्य मंत्री इरफान अंसारी के बीच थैलेसीमिया और बोन मैरो ट्रांसप्लांट को लेकर तीखी नोकझोंक हुई. मामला इतना बढ़ गया कि स्पीकर रवींद्र नाथ महतो को हस्तक्षेप करना पड़ा और वे भी नाराज दिखे.
विधायक प्रदीप यादव ने राज्य में थैलेसीमिया मरीजों की संख्या, बोन मैरो ट्रांसप्लांट सुविधा और सरकारी सहायता को लेकर सवाल पूछा. जवाब देते समय मंत्री इरफान अंसारी असमंजस में दिखे और स्वीकार किया कि सरकार के पास थैलेसीमिया मरीजों का कोई अपडेटेड डेटा उपलब्ध नहीं है, जबकि कई राज्यों में ऐसी जानकारी विभाग के पास मौजूद रहती है. इस पर भाजपा विधायकों ने सदन में "सेम-सेम" कहते हुए हल्ला भी मचाया.
प्रदीप यादव लगातार अपनी सीट से उठकर पूछते रहे कि थैलेसीमिया पीड़ितों को राज्य में मुफ्त रक्त उपलब्ध कराया जा रहा है या नहीं, और क्या सरकार अन्य राज्यों की तरह इलाज के लिए 15–20 लाख तक की आर्थिक सहायता देने पर विचार करेगी. इन सवालों पर भी मंत्री स्पष्ट जवाब नहीं दे सके.प्रदीप यादव ने आरोप लगाया कि ब्लड ट्रांसफ्यूजन के नाम पर एक अस्पताल ने मरीजों से पैसे वसूले हैं. इसपर मंत्री ने सफाई दी, लेकिन विधायक संतुष्ट नहीं हुए. स्पीकर ने मंत्री को संक्षिप्त जवाब देने को कहा, लेकिन मंत्री इरफान अंसारी जवाब देने की बजाय घटनाएं और उदाहरण बताने लगे, जिससे सदन में नाराजगी और बढ़ी.

A major uproar erupted in the Jharkhand Assembly today during the winter session over healthcare services. A heated exchange took place between Congress MLA Pradeep Yadav and Health Minister Irfan Ansari regarding thalassemia and bone marrow transplants. The matter escalated to such an extent that Speaker Ravindra Nath Mahto had to intervene, and he too appeared visibly upset.
MLA Pradeep Yadav questioned the number of thalassemia patients in the state, the availability of bone marrow transplant facilities, and government assistance. While answering, Minister Irfan Ansari appeared confused and admitted that the government did not have updated data on thalassemia patients, even though such information is available with the department in many other states. BJP MLAs created a ruckus in the House, shouting "Same-same."
Pradeep Yadav repeatedly rose from his seat, asking whether free blood was being provided to thalassemia patients in the state and whether the government would consider providing financial assistance of up to Rs. 15-20 lakh for treatment, as is done in other states. The minister could not give clear answers to these questions either. Pradeep Yadav alleged that a hospital had extorted money from patients in the name of blood transfusions. The minister offered an explanation, but the MLA was not satisfied. The Speaker asked the minister to give a concise answer, but instead of answering, Minister Irfan Ansari started narrating incidents and examples, which further increased the anger in the House.
