We Believe: Celebrating the 1700th Anniversary of the Nicene Creed
The Nicene Creed proclaims our belief in one Lord, Jesus Christ, acknowledging his supreme authority and kingship. Jesus’ declaration of all-encompassing authority affirms that he reigns over heaven and earth, and his exaltation at the right hand of God confirms him as both Lord and Messiah. This profession invites us to recognize Christ’s lordship in every aspect of our lives and to follow Him with faithfulness and confidence in His guidance. By affirming Jesus as Lord, we join the Church in acknowledging His power, victory, and ongoing presence in the world.
