Winjas Fear & Force Off Ride | Phantasialand in 4K 60 fps

There's much more to this whimsically-themed pair of spinning coasters than meets the eye - but we've tried to capture as much as we can! Opening at Phantasialand in 2002 in the "Wuze Town" area of the park, these two coasters feature some of the most unususal coaster elements in Europe (*spoilers ahead*) - making them thoroughly enjoyable and memorable!

The ride features two separate tracks, Fear and Force, which partially duel and feature a similar pattern of elements built by Maurer AG (formerly Maurer Söhne). Both rides start with an enclosed elevator lift that releases the 4 person cars at angle down a steep drop before entering a twister section composed of numerous tight turns in rapid succession with intense spinning involved. The cars then descend into a shallow helix before entering a dark section packed with overbanked turns. Perhaps the best surprise happens at the end of the ride: both sides have a set of block brakes that tilt, the Fear side moves like a see-saw whilst the Force side tilts sideways. Riders are then released into a couple of final turns before one last trick on the final brake run - a vertical bounce track which only found on one other coaster worldwide, Voltron at Europa park. Whilst not as intense overall as some of the other coasters at the park like Black Mamba and Taron, these coasters certainly pack a punch!
