In August 2024, Sweet Patootee Arts' commissioned Birmingham based professional Opera singer Abigail Kelly (soprano) to deliver a series of free Caribbean folk singing workshops at Midlands Arts Centre (MAC), for our TURNING POINT programme of partner-led arts and Black heritage activities.
The last of these workshops was a public sharing event, performing songs learned and rehearsed over the previous weeks to an invited audience for the first time...
