Looking for some fun and easy Thanksgiving Crafts to do with your toddlers or preschoolers?
This videos shows 5 different hands on, easy and fun crafts that are a must to try this Thanksgiving!
Craft 1: Pumpkin Pie Craft
Materials needed:
• paper plate
• crayon or paint
• brown colored paper
• scissors
• glue
• glitter glue
• tissue paper
Directions:
Cut out the paper plate into a triangle shape or pie slice shape.
Decorate it by coloring it in with crayons or paint of your choice.
Cut out rectangles for the crust and glue it at the top/ edge of the paper plate
Decorate your pie by adding glitter glue and scrunched up tissue paper for the cream.
Craft 2: Handprint Turkey
Materials needed:
• paint ( brown, green, red, yellow and orange)
• red and orange marker
• googly eye
•white paper
Directions:
Start of by painting the palm of your hand and thumb with the brown paint, followed up by each finger with green, yellow, orange and red.
Press your hand on the white paper and remove to see the print.
Add on a googly eye and Draw on the beak and legs.
Craft 3: Thumbprint Turkey
Materials needed:
• white paper
• paint or watercolors ( brown, red, orange and yellow)
• red and orange marker
• googly eye
Directions:
Use your thumbprint to create a Turkey with feathers.
Craft 4: Turkey Dotting
Materials needed:
• paint or watercolors
• white paper
• brown colored paper
• scissors
• glue
• googly eyes
Directions:
On a white paper dab or dot around using different color paint.
Cut out a Turkey shape and glue it at the bottom of the dotted page.
Add on the googly eyes and beak.
Craft 5: Turkey Puppet
Materials needed:
• play dough
• popsicle stick
• feathers
• googly eyes
Directions:
Roll the play dough into a circle shape and add on the feathers at the top.
Stick the play dough ball on top of a popsicle stick and add on the eyes. Now you have your Thanksgiving Turkey puppet!
