AgiBot Hits 5,000 Production Milestone, Delivers Custom Robot to Famous Actor

A significant moment today at AgiBot’s factory. During a livestream witnessed by media outlets like Xinhua News Agency, Co-founder Peng Zhihui announced their 5,000th general-purpose embodied robot has officially rolled off the line. This event suggests a major shift for the industry, moving from technical validation toward an era of mass commercialization.

The company also released its cumulative production data across its three main series:
➤ Expedition A1/A2: 1,742 units
➤ Lingxi X1/X2: 1,846 units
➤ Spirit G1/G2: 1,412 units

The commemorative 5,000th unit, a Lingxi X2, was personally delivered on stage to famous actor Huang Xiaoming. For this collaboration, AgiBot customized the robot with a "Xiaoming Mode" personality, enabling it to mimic his mannerisms and even make inside jokes. Huang also tested the "Lingchuang" motion-learning platform live, having the robot instantly replicate his movements, showcasing its powerful customization capabilities.

Beyond the celebrity crossover, AgiBot opened its three production bases to the public for the first time via the livestream. Peng emphasized that reaching 5,000 units validates their entire tech stack and supply chain. He stated that this achievement proves the feasibility of mass-producing general-purpose robots, which will help drive down costs and foster a healthy development cycle for the entire industry.
