In this video, we take you along on an incredible day of crystal hunting as we explore a brand-new *hematoid quartz* discovery close to home. I was fortunate enough to be part of this rare find — and what a journey it turned out to be!

Getting to the site is no easy task. It involves **two hours of steep, grueling climbing**, and by the time we reached the top, our legs felt like jelly. This is rugged, wild terrain — no roads, no shortcuts, and absolutely no guarantees. But that’s exactly what makes it exciting.

This isn’t a commercial site. It’s raw, untouched, and **extremely challenging to mine**. You can dig for an entire day and walk away with only five specimens — if you're lucky. Most of the crystals are **fragile and break off the sandstone**, making intact specimens incredibly rare and valuable.

But on this particular day, everything aligned. We *dug into a good-sized pocket* and unearthed some truly beautiful hematoid quartz pieces. It took all day, but the reward was worth every step and every bead of sweat.
