Israeli forces ‘deliberately targeting children’ says Palestinian health ministry

In an interview with Middle East Eye, Dr Munir al-Barsh, General Manager at the Palestinian Ministry of Health, condemned the killing of 15 Palestinian health workers by Israeli forces last month, describing it as a “massacre” that “the occupation wanted to conceal.”

Al-Barsh also claimed that Israeli forces have been “deliberately targeting children” since the resumption of the war on Gaza on 18 March, noting that “the proportion of children and women among the victims has increased to more than 50 percent.”
