One of the many fighting games released during the fighting game craze of the early 90's. Developed and published by Data East. Plays very similar to Capcom's Street Fighter II to the point that Capcom tried to sue Data East and even brought them to court (Capcom lost the case). The game also features the star of an older Data East game as the final boss.

Fighter's History has a unique feature in which a character has a weak, indicated by a clothing part that flashes. When said cloth part comes off, the character is temporarily stunned, allowing their opponent a free hit.

I play through the game as Makoto Mizoguchi. Gotta have the Japanese Kung Fu Guy! He would later make a guest appearance in KOF: Maximum Impact Regulation A as a playable character.

As of April 24th - 25th 2023, I have removed matches I lost in for non-1cc playthrough videos. Since I originally did include the matches I lost in and would often skip cutscenes next attempt, the transition may be a little weird at times.
